Welcome to Mount Carmel School

Mount Carmel School is a co-educational English medium institution for Classes I to XII. It is a private, unaided institution founded and owned by Mr. Lalnunkunga Sailo on 5 January 1987. The school is affiliated to the Mizoram Board of School Education and follows the syllabus of the MBSE and SCERT, Mizoram.

The school has done well in the Board Examinations since its establishment, regularly producing toppers and top ten rankers in the State.

In the HSSLC Examination 2025, 370 of our 377 candidates passed. The school produced the Arts Stream topper, along with two 4th rankers and two 10th rankers. Our students have also secured MBBS seats, and seats in engineering, agriculture, horticulture and nursing.

Mount Carmel School places as much emphasis on co-curricular activities as on academics. Our aim is to give quality education, to bring out the potential of each child, and to help every student face the challenges of life with ease and confidence wherever they go.
